What should I look out for to determine a genuine refurbished PC?
Look out for the MAR logo (1) when you buy your PC. It’s the most obvious way to tell. Also, properly licensed refurbished PCs will have both the original Certificate of Authenticity (COA) that came affixed to the PC when it was newly purchased (2) and a specially designed Windows COA for refurbished PCs (3)
Without these certificates, chances are the refurbished PC is loaded with illegal software.
